Vintage, Very Nice J. R. Wells Black Duck Decoy/canadian Decoy/decoys/hunting

This Toronto, Ontario, Canada bird has a rough spot on the tail, which I believe was done while being carved by Wells. There is also a chip on the underside of the bill. This too could have happened while being carved. This decoy came out of the Goodman collection, a very well known collector.
