Vintage Cream and Butter Quilt Pretty Pattern 76 x 75 Very Nice

Here is a sweet quilt I came across in my cutter quilt closet while looking for yellow for upcoming projects. It really needed a good soak and after a gentle laundering, well it just melted my heart. It's in beautiful condition in a gentle butter yellow and cream. It has just a few flaws to mention: there's a small spot with a bit of wear on the border, a stain on the back that does not come through to the front, and some deterioration to the very, very thin batting. I felt this when I handled the border since most of the batting is missing there.

It's not rolled or balled up. I held the quilt to the light and can see there are areas where the batting has separated. I couldn't tell this when the quilt is on the bed as it displays beautifully. I think this is because the batting is just so thin.

I also noticed some cotton seeds in the batting. I don't know the pattern but it's very well executed and interesting to look at. It's all hand quilted with loads of tiny, tiny stitches.

It measures 76" x 75" and has been hand laundered and is ready for use. Obviously I could never take a pair of scissors to this gentle beauty.
