A stunning example of this vintage Kay model! Great playability, straight neck, excellent setup and action, with the wonderful tone that comes from the famous pancake pickups. Originally intended as a student level guitar, these Kay's have become quite collectible lately and are even used by some "Pro-Level" Grunge musicians.

Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Keep in mind that this is a 62 year old guitar that has been played. The only real cosmetic issues are on the back and the lower bout edge of the body. There are numerous scuffs, scratches and chips in the finish.

Both Top and Back are pretty clean. There are a few small scratches and chips on the edges.

Same story here on the edges of the headstock. Frets are in fine shape.

Some wear on the Rosewood Fingerboard from the 4th-8th fret. Dripping with "Mojo" Overall, a really nice solid used guitar. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story. Top 40 Guitars is a Veteran Owned Business.
