Very Nice quality large currency Bracelet, Senufo people, Ivory Coast and Mali

Very Nice quality define sculptural bracelet with the etchings were achieved through a process know as scarification. The artisan meticulously traced and retraced their patterns on the copper surface to create the defined ridges. Hinged and fastened with a clasp over the wrist, a woman of status used this bracelet as both ceremonial accessory and as an expression of wealth. Origin (made in): Ivory Coast/Mali, Senufo people.
