I was told they were late 19th century, but I do not know that for sure. They are gorgeous Louis XVI style chairs that are highly carved and upholstered in a beautiful fan design upholstery that is cream / ivory and a very light pink. There are no stains or tears in any of the upholstery that I can see. They are not excessively heavy.

Two of the chairs have arms, two do not. They have beautiful carved wood, are very nice quality, and are quite comfortable. The beaded carved detail on the seat backs is lovely!

They have turned, tapered, fluted legs. There is also beautiful carved detail on the arms as well as the legs. All of the chairs are in great condition structurally with no cracks or damage, but they do have age-appropriate wear to wood frames / surface. There are also some very small areas where the carved design is chipped on the chair backs.

Still a beautiful set of chairs. The chairs with arms have plastic "feet" attached to the bottom.

The side chairs do not have the plastic feet and one of them is slightly wobbly, but still very sturdy (no breaks or damage on the legs). COLOR NOTE: As far as color, on my computer screen the last few photos are more true to color, but screen colors can vary. 17 tall at the seat cushion.

41 tall overall (measured from the floor to the tip of the carving). 20" wide seat (in between the seat posts) and 25" across at the front. 21 Deep (front to back). 19.5 high at the seat cushion. 39 tall overall (measured from the floor to the tip of the carving). 18 Deep (front to back).
