Rare Antique Federal Style Gold Gesso Finialed And Edged Mirror. Very Nice

This a REALLY nice and RARE ANTIQUE CARVED GOLD GESSO ROUND FEDERAL TIME FRAME WALL MIRROR. There are slight cracks in the light gesso under gold, wood shrinkage are the reason, very light gesso and paint loss on the back edge. Has been re mirrored (not original mirror), but left the paper, and original small stay nails.

The one picture of the loss on the underside back edge is relative, the are a few more... Does not effect the look of the piece, and actually gives a better understanding of the construction. Check out the back, AND ALL IMAGES... Nicely done with a few carving mistakes.
