Old Antique Vtg Early 19th C 1800s Tin Betty Lamp or Whale Oil Grease Very Nice

This offering is for an antique early 19th century Tin Whale Oil or Grease Lamp. The lamp has a wonderful form with a hinged lid and tube wick holder. 4" in height not counting the 4" hanger.

The hanger wire looks like it might be a later replacement but if so it was well done. There is scattered light wear and very very minor surface rust but for the most part the condition is outstanding. The surface has not been cleaned in years and it has a beautiful patina.
