Old Antique Vtg 19th C School Girl Writing Box Academy Decorated Very Nice

This offering is for a mid to late 19th century School Girl Academy Decorated Folk Art Writing Box. The box is made of pine with a beautiful hand colored lithograph decoupaged on the lid.

The interior of the box is fitted as a writing desk with the purple velvet still in place and in very nice condition. 9.5" by 6.75" by 3.5. The condition is very nice but not perfect.

There is minor wear with a few creases and high point splits in the litho. The back right side of the box also has a 1 surface crack at the left hand end of the hinge, this is only visible on the exterior surface.
