Beautiful vintage woven strawithwood hope chest, very nice condition

Here is a very cool and unique item.. I dont know much about it but you may. I have not really seen anything like this before. The weaving is in very good condition with only 1 known broken.

The interior is felt lined and nice to put valuable things inside. It is a decent size..

16" x 10" x 9 outside dia. Interior will be smaller by a bit. It has brass lid hooking latch but does not lock. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
