Antique Solid Brass 8 Key Toy Trumpet 12 Long Made in France Very Nice

This is a brass trumpet that has very little information available. It is from a farm estate near Cumberland Wisconsin.

My search found the following: One person thought it was produced as a toy and made somewhere from 1875 to 1900. There was a four key version of this trumpet which measures 8 and is more common. This French producer made an eight key saxophone from the same era. There is even a question if this was a toy or produced as a serious playing instrument. Here is what I know, 12 Long, has 8 keys, weighs approx. As can be seen in photos this horn is in great condition and complete. There are no visible dents, and all eight valves work smoothly.

The only mark on horn is in photo # 2. It is apparent that these trumpets are pretty scarce in this condition. It appears someone glued the horn which was originally soldiered. Please check photos as they are a large part of description.
