Antique, Old Leather Draft Horse Shoe Boil Boot /w Very Nice Leather Strap

Antique leather shoe boil boot. Shoe boil boots are used to protect horses from developing sores on their elbows when they lie down. Vintage patina with minor wear consistent with age and use. The leather shop is entirely intact although it is on the firm side and I suggest putting additional holes in it as there is a hole but it is further down the strap. The actual boot does have some leather worn areas and some peeling in addition to a couple of holes and repairs, but again, it's entirely intact and a really neat antique piece. This piece is approximately 9 in round in diameter by 3.5 in thick.
