Antique German 800 Silver 9 1/4 Spice Tower Very Nice

This tower is 9 1/4 high and weighs 100.3 grams. Base is 2 in diameter. It features a flag at the very top, and four smaller flags at the filigree box corners. The cylinder over this box can be turned around. It features two crowned lions on each side of the tablets.

The spice tower is used during Havdalah, a Jewish ritual that marks the end of the holy Sabbath. The spice essence is used for blessing. This tower is in very good condition with a tiny piece of filigree missing on the door. The antique touch marks indicate 800 silver Germany.
