Antique Durgin Sterling Silver Daisy Topped Etched Glass Candy Bowl, Very Nice, 8
Durgin daisy handle sterling silver slotted top etched glass candy, bonbon or mint bowl. The bowl is a nice size and could serve multiple uses.
It measures 8" across from tip of handle to tip of handle x 2 3/4" height. The sterling silver lid is 4 diameter and weighs 66.6 grams.
The lid is in nice shape with no dents, no monograms and only modest surface wear. The handle is in the form of a Daisy and there is a small slot on the outer edge to rest a serving spoon.
It is stamped on the inner edge sterling 10 along with early Durgin maker's mark. The frosted etched glass bowl shows a crisp, clean, grapevine pattern. The glass is clean, clear and free of damage.
