Offered here is this Very Nice Solid Brass Antique Twin Size Headboard. The headboard is in good condition, however, it is quite tarnished and needs a good polishing. There are some areas where it looks like it is beginning to come apart so it may need some light repair. It has wooden inserts at the bottom that appear to be adjustable, so the height of the headboard may be able to be lowered. The balance rod, however, that goes through the wooden bottom legs, if the height were to be lowered, you would most likely need to drill new holes through the wood supports to put the rod through. The headboard is 59.5" tall, 37" wide at the widest point, and 35.5 across the bottom wooden leg supports. These supports are where the box spring or bed frame would be attached to the headboard. It is a very nice antique solid brass headboard that would make a nice addition to any antique collection. It could be polished and should clean up beautifully.
