VERY NICE ANTIQUE FRENCH FASHION DOLL by E. Circa: 1846 - 1877 - - - Nicely Dressed. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors.

I just love the face on this E. This lady is 12 inches tall. For price reference see page # 108 in the book,'Doll Values' 13th Edition by Linda Edward. This French fashion doll was made by E. Rom between 1846 to 1877.

She is a lady-type doll with a kid body and a shoulder plate with swivel head. Her leather body is in good condition only a very tiny tear at the seam of her left elbow. She has a very tiny old crack on the front of her shoulder plate. There are no other cracks or hairline in her shoulder plate or head.

Her facial cheeks do not have any scratches. She has deep cobalt blue glass eyes with wonderful french cut eyes. She has a mark'0' on the top back of her head and on the left shoulder.

She has a blonde mohair wig. She wears: lace trimmed antique pantaloons; a lace trimmed antique underskirt; an antique lace trimmed slip; a newer hoop; old cotton socks and antique leather shoes; a nice styled hand made dress with matching jacket and matching hat with feather. This is a wonderful example of this French doll maker. From my home to yours.
