Very Nice And Rare Vintage 1965 Seiko Grey Seikomatic 26j. Automatic 6206-8040

According to its serial number this watch was manufactured in December 1965. Stainless steel case is in nice condition with normal hailines due to its age. It measures 37mm without the recessed crown X 42mm which is quite large for the a 60's watch.

Case-back is still quite nice with signs of wear. Dark grey dial is really beautiful and reflects very well the light. Avery small spot can be seen near the 9 index but it's not really visible when the watch is on the wrist. Inner index ring is also in perfect condition which is rare. Silver indexes and hands are, as you can see on the photos, absolutely free of any defect. Quickset date is working turning the crown pulled on its first position, day can be set using hour setting between 21h and 24h.

6206B movement has been fully serviced a few weeks ago. It starts as soon as the watch is gently shaken, keeps accurate time with an excellent power reserve.
