M & W MALLORY & WHEELER RIM LOCK - 1870 EASTLAKE COMPLETE - VERY NICE (11024). Vintage, beautiful Eastlake Mallory & Wheeler complete rim lock, patent date of November 18th, 1873circa 1880, cast steel rim lock in fantastic condition. Completely restored inside and out. The lock comes with a vintage key, with the original matching keeper and with an Eastlake key escutcheon and an Eastlake knob escutcheon. Very well made, it has been sandblasted to remove all the old dirt or paint and lock was clear coated with lacquer.
Use it like this with the original industrial look or spray paint black or any color you wish. Box measures 3 5/8" wide X 4 7/8" high, keeper is matching in both design and height. Set back from the edge of the rim lock to the center of the knob post hole is 2 5/8. Set back from the edge of the rim lock to the center of the key hole is the same.Key works fine, brass safety lock works fine. Both the knob and key escutcheon are included.
