Coleman 200A Red 8/64 Cherry Single Mantle Vintage Lantern VERY Nice Vent -WORKS

These 50+ year old vintage Coleman white-gas powered camping lanterns are becoming rare finds'in the wild' but are so great to light up and enjoy! This one was made in August of 1964 and may be the prettiest one I have owned! It is a rare'cherry' color and from the end of the post-Burgundy'cherry' colored run which ended in late 1964. With some oil on the pump leather it lit right up and ran with no problems!

After that test I took it apart and thoroughly cleaned and maintenanced it, adding a new check valve and cleaning/polishing the brass. I haven't lit it since cleaning it as I didn't want to dirty it again, but it pumps up and hisses as it should. My listings are used vintage lanterns with signs of wear and use - please see the photos for condition. The vent is beautiful and overall everything is nice with one shallow ding right over the decal.
