C1875 Large antique family Holy Bible CLASPS very nice

Large family Bible, measures 12 1/2" tall X 10 1/2" wide and 4 thick, weighs 11lbs. It is complete with Old and New Testaments. Beautiful black tooled leather covers with silver clasps. Covers are firmly attached and open and close easily.

It cosmetically restored with the covers cleaned and polished and the clasps were polished. The front hinge was repaired/reinforced, looks and works good. A 1 piece of leather had torn off the top of the spine, it was reinforced to prevent further damage. Many color maps and B&W illustrations.

Some staining and foxing on pages, everything is still very legible. There are two pages at the back for photos, both have tears (last picture).
